Yacoub Automatisierungstechnik was founded by Talat Yacoub in 1992. The company was quickly known as a specialist in Electronics for Harsh Environments. In 2005 the company was rebranded to Yacoub Automation GmbH. In 2016 the company became a strategic partner of Murrelektronik. Since then, we have been focused on trends and technologies for products for factory and process automation. Yacoub has become an indispensable partner of Murrelektronik GmbH.
We are a growing team of more than 45 professionals, aiming to grow to 100 employees by 2026. We are organized into six departments. We are organized into seven departments. The Software Automation team focuses on the development of PLCs and Edge Gateways. The Software Industrial IoT team researches ML & AI and develops cloud and IoT technologies. The Software Industrial Ethernet team focuses on protocol stacks, controller management and UI. PCBs and enclosures are developed by the hardware team. To ensure that our products meet our customers' requirements, Yacoub has its own system testing department. The smooth transition to production is managed by the industrialization department. Finally, we have an accounting team that is responsible for administrative tasks.
